You may not think so, but you can find some really great furniture items at great prices in this way. Typically people who have garage sales need extra cash, or are just trying to weed out some of the clutter that they have, so they are willing to let go of furniture that they no longer use for low prices, just to get it out of their way, and bring in some extra money. Loose or broken hinges, screws, handles, and even some wobbles can be taken care of with some time and TLC, so no big deal.
